Youth

First Christian Church-Corpus Christi Youth Group meets September thru May on Sundays.

During our meetings we enjoy food, fellowship, and fun. Most Sundays include Bible study or faith discussions that are relevant and applicable to our youth today. We enjoy special events and mission opportunities planned each year, typically chosen by the youth. We also assist with other church ministries. The youth of First Christian Church have an active part in worship and are a vital component to the church.

First Christian Church-Corpus Christi sponsors youth for camps in three groups held at Camp Gonzo – Disciple Oaks Retreat Center in Gonzales, Texas.

Camps occur throughout the regular year and during the summer for all ages shown below.

Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF): A group designed for youth in 3rd-5th grade

Chi-Rho: A group for youth in 6th-8th grade

Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF): A group for youth in high school, 9th-12th grade

Every participant will tell you that the friendships made at Camp Gonzo last a lifetime. Scholarships are available.
