A Life of Kindness
A ministry of First Christian Church called “A Day of Kindness” has evolved into a new ministry called “A Life of Kindness… Near and Far.” Rather than just one day a year, we have activities throughout the year when we head out into our community to do acts of kindness… just because. It might be collecting supplies for an underserved school, handing out water bottles at bus stop on a hot afternoon, doing yardwork for someone who can’t do it themselves, or any one of a number of different activities. No matter your age or skills, at First Christian Church you will find many opportunities to reach out to our world with love of Jesus.
Christian Women’s Fellowship
The Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) of First Christian Church- Corpus Christi provides opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop as sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church.
Sometimes called “the back bone of the church” the women of CWF come together to identify the needs of the community, church facility and church family. Through the benefit of offerings and fund raising, the women of CWF collaborate to meet those needs.
