Letter to Parents

Dear Parents/Guardians/Members of First Christian Church Youth:

For the last couple of weeks and the weeks to come your children will be studying a number of biblical concepts and teachings during Sunday School (9:15am-10:15am) which will also be built upon during the Sunday evening Youth Group Meetings (4:30pm-7pm). It is my desire that these teachings and concepts are not just studied on Sundays, but as well lived out, throughout the week and God willing the rest of their lives; therefore, I will be sending out encouraging and practical advice throughout the week to help the youth of First Christian Church via a number of different methods of communication. These methods include, and may not be limited to: First Christian Church’s website, text messaging, email, and other social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Below I have listed where these forms of communication can be found and where you, yourself can join and take part in, if you would like to receive these communiques for yourself.

On First Christian Church’s website (www.fcc-cc.org) you will find First Christian Church’s Youth page (http://fcccc.wpengine.com/youth/). On the main youth page, you will see links to the youth’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/FCCcorpusYouth), Instagram Page (https://www.instagram.com/FCCcorpusYouth/), and our Twitter page (https://twitter.com/FCCcorpusYouth).

As well on the FCC youth website page you will find our blog page listed under youth news (http://fcccc.wpengine.com/category/youth-news/). We have also posted our youth calendar which will give you a look at what the youth will be doing for the upcoming three months; that page is (http://fcccc.wpengine.com/youth/youth-news/). And finally, under our Sunday School link (http://fcccc.wpengine.com/youth/youth-sunday-school/) you will see what exactly the youth will be studying for Sunday School; you will see the topic, as well as the biblical verses that are used to back up the topic and the dates we will be reviewing those topics.

If you would like to receive my person email updates; my email address is youth@fcc-cc.org. Just send me an email and I will add you. If you would like my text message updates, send me a text (361-558-6926) with your name and I will add you.

In-order for you to view and receive our Facebook updates, you will have to log on to Facebook through your account and visit our group page. Please note that our group page is listed as a private page for the safety of our kids and therefore you will have to request to join. Do so by letting me know who you are and I will add you. You can find our group page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/FCCcorpusYouth/

As well, our other social media outlets are through Twitter (@FCCcorpusYouth) and Instagram (FCCcorpusYouth). These are free for you to follow, just remember you have to sign in through your account to be a participating member in our conversations.

I cannot convey how deeply blessed I am to be here at First Christian Church – Corpus Christi and I continue to look forward to the blessings God has for First Christian Church and the Youth.

Sincerely In Christ,
